All works except Freak are from the onedotzero festival. This along with resfest and other digital film festivals are representative of the kind of hybrid filmmaking that has been made possible via accessible digital technology such as HD digital cameras and post-production tools such as Adobe After Effects. All different media and materials can be blended seamlessly to create abstract and beautiful visual narrative sequences.

Video shoot ::: 1.30-4.30 on Thursday 17th March

This Thursday we will meet in E2.20 to meet with you and check off your plans prior to your shoot. Please note that the University video cameras are not available until 3pm.

You will need:
- a completed shot list (print one for each member of your team and another for our file)
- props, structures
- anything else you may need to make it work eg. gaffer tape, chalk etc.


If you have any of the following, please bring them along:
- tripods
- DV cameras
- still cameras (may be used to shoot additional video / alternate angles)


Please also note that you will need to digitise your video before class on Monday. Cam will be expecting you to have footage ready to import into Adobe After Effects.

As we are shooting on Standard DV our recommedation is to digitise the footage as 'DV-PAL' using Final Cut Pro.

Collaborative Studio ::: 1.30-4.30 on Thursday March 4th

First of all, the room for tomorrow is E2.20 (not E2.02). It is on the second floor of the Fine Arts Building.

Second, a reminder (and update) on materials. Please bring:
- 1200x2400mm piece of 2mm gray cardboard (if you cannot obtain this size get multiple pieces)
- Cutting knife
- Pencils, pens
- Steel ruler
- Cutting mat

And a digital still camera if you have one.
